Cat-only veterinary clinic with a named founder (Dr Jeremy Campbell) and a stated role as a veterinary nurse training facility. Reviews repeatedly describe a set-up designed to reduce feline stress (quiet feel, private rooms offered quickly, “calming mist” used), plus proactive follow-up after visits (owners mention staff checking in several times after a vaccination reaction). Recent feedback is mixed on administration: alongside praise for the vets’ care, some owners describe problems with healthcare-plan flea treatment deliveries and having to chase for updates, and one review alleges records were withheld over an unpaid balance from a previous owner.

I registered my cat with The London Cat Clinic as recommended by my partner, and I was told this is an exceptional, cat-only vet practice. Although I don’t live nearby, I was happy to travel for what I expected would be high-quality, reliable care. While the vets themselves are great onsite, the service and communication have been very disappointing. I signed up to the healthcare plan specifically for convenience, yet I have never received my flea treatment delivery as promised. Over the summer I was told there was a “problem” with the dispensing company, meaning I had to collect treatments myself. On 4 October, I then received an email confirming deliveries had been set up again and that my treatment would arrive on 20 October. It never arrived, and there was no communication from the practice at all. I had to chase the clinic myself on 12 December, at which point I was told I could pick it up instead and that I would be informed when it was ready. Again, no updates followed. I had to call yet again on 22 December, only to be told that it was already ready. This raises the obvious question: why wasn’t I contacted? Why did I have to repeatedly chase for basic updates? The whole point of signing up to a healthcare plan is to avoid this exact kind of admin and follow-up. Sadly, despite excellent vets, the ongoing issues with communication and service have made this a frustrating experience and do not match the premium reputation of the clinic.

I would not recommend this vet. They seem to prioritise money over a pets wellbeing. I adopted my cat in February as his previous owner was unable to afford him anymore. She had a subscription with the london cat clinic and was unable to pay them. I am now in the process of getting my cat castrated and need his medical records. I have been chasing the London Cat Clinic for over 1 month. After being told multiple times that they would get back to me, they kept repeating that the old owner owes them money and they wouldn’t release the records until they got the money, despite me telling them that it is unlawful for them to hold my cat’s records as per UK law as the microchip is in my name now. They don’t seem to care about my pet’s heath or wellbeing for a few quid.

I’ve never had a good experience with vets in the past, but my recent visit completely changed that. It was such a sad day, as it was time to say goodbye to my beloved cat, Betty. From the moment I arrived, the team made such a difficult experience feel calm and caring. Rosie and Kelly on reception welcomed us warmly and took us straight to a private room that was already set up and so peaceful. They offered us drinks and gave us time alone to settle before the vet arrived, which I really appreciated. Dr Anna Di Toma was wonderful, gentle, compassionate and made sure I fully understood what would happen before starting. She took Betty to the back so the team could place a catheter, and when the nurse, Jessica, brought her back, the genuine care in how she held her really touched me. It didn’t feel like “routine care” it was true kindness. Dr Anna carried out the euthanasia with such respect. It was quick, peaceful and Betty left with dignity and love. When her ashes were returned, I was told a nurse named Georgia had taken paw and nose prints which was such a beautiful and thoughtful gesture that I will treasure forever. Thank you to the entire team for your compassion and for making Betty’s final moments so peaceful. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who helped us through such a hard day.

Huge thanks to The London Cat Clinic, and especially Dr Anna Minoli, for the wonderful care given to Albert. As first-time fosterers, we were nervous, but Dr Anna’s patience, compassion and expertise made all the difference. Thanks to her dedication, Albert is now thriving — and we’re so happy to say we’ve decided to adopt him. 💙🐾

Excellent care and service from this team of knowledgeable vets and nurses. My cats have been going there for 8 years since it first opened. My Tosca suffered from hyperthyroidism and they managed to get her diagnosis correct after I tried two other vets before. She flourished and carried on living another 7 beautiful years until 23. Their in clinic services range from your routine clinical care to acupuncture and access to specialist services such as ophthalmology. All the vets are up to speed on the latest treatment and research which means a lot when you are dealing with geriatric cats. The office and reception team is professional and empathetic. Even during Covid I felt supported in getting the medical needs of my cats met. Yes it is pricy however knowing that my cats are in the best possible care means the world to me and all the prices are communicated clearly beforehand so there are no nasty surprises.

I recently brought my cat Luna in for her vaccination on a Saturday, and I couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate and professional experience. The vet was incredibly gentle and mindful of Luna’s comfort while administering the vaccine, which I really appreciated. The clinic itself is beautiful—calm, clean, and clearly designed with cats in mind. The atmosphere is quiet and soothing, with a layout that helps reduce stress for both pets and their owners. It’s obvious that every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make cats feel safe. After the vaccination, Luna didn’t eat for nearly 48 hours. I called the clinic the next day out of concern, and they kindly offered me a same-day appointment. Despite Luna being quite aggressive during the visit, the team truly did their best to examine her and treated her with so much patience and care. They gave her an appetite stimulant and asked me to monitor her closely. The next day, I went in again—30 minutes early, thinking I might be late—and they immediately offered us a private room to help Luna feel more at ease. They even sprayed the room with a calming mist (I wish I knew the name of it!), and checked in with us a few times to make sure we were okay. Luna was noticeably calmer this time. A nurse came in and was just as careful and kind as the rest of the team, but Luna was still a bit too feisty to fully examine. We decided to give her some more time and see how she would progress over the next few days. What really stood out to me was the continued care—both the vets and receptionists followed up with me several times, not just to check on Luna, but also to see how I was holding up. That level of kindness and compassion is rare. I’ll never forget this experience. It’s comforting to know Luna and I are part of The London Cat Clinic family. I wholeheartedly recommend them to any cat parent looking for expert, thoughtful, and genuinely caring feline care.
